Chemical constituents from Metasequoia glyptostroboides Hu et Cheng

- Fifty-two compounds (1-52) were isolated from Metasequoia glyptostroboids.
- Twenty-eight compounds were first reported from M. glyptostroboids.
- The configuration of three norlignans (1-3) have only be found in M. glyptostroboids.
- This finding may support the opinion of establishing Metasequoia as a monotypic genus from the chemotaxonomical aspect.
