Chemical constituents from Cistanche sinensis (Orobanchaceae)

► One new phenylethanoid glycoside (PhG) has been isolated from Cistanche sinensis. ► Three compounds were firstly reported from the genus Cistanche. ► Seven compounds were isolated from C. sinensis for the first time. ► PhGs with a 6′-O-rhamnosyl group could serve as chemotaxonomic markers for C. sinensis.
