Fine scale spatial genetic structure of the endangered Heptacodium miconioides endemic to China

► We analysed SGS of Heptacodium miconioides. ► Significantly positive SGS at low distance was observed. ► Significant fine-scale SGS were also found in H. miconioides at four age classes.
