► One new triterpenoid ester 1 was yielded from Glochidion wrightii. ► Compound 8 was reported as a natural product for the first time. ► Twenty-one compounds were obtained from the genus Glochidion for the first time. ► The genus Glochidion is embedded within Phyllanthus from a chemotaxonomic view.
