Chemical constituents from Spermacoce verticillata (Rubiaceae)

► Nine compounds (1-9) were isolated from aerial part, stems and roots of Spermacoce verticillata. ► All compounds are been reported for the first time from this species. ► Compound 2-hydroxy-3-methylanthraquinone (7) is reported for the first time from the genus Spermacoce or Borreria.
