Phytochemical study of Anthemis rumelica (Velen.) Stoj. & Acht.

► Bulgarian endemic Anthemis rumelica has been phytochemically investigated. ► Four sesquiterpene lactones were isolated, of which two are new natural compounds. ► Two flavonoids - centaureidin and santin were also identified. ► β-Sitosterol, its glucoside, α- and β-amyrin and taraxerol were detected too. ► Chemotaxonomic significance based on sesquiterpene lactones was discussed.
