Preparation and biodistribution of 1-((2-methoxyphenyl) piperazine)ferrocenecarboxamide labeled with technetium-99m as a potential brain receptor imaging agent

The design, synthesis and characterization of a new lipophilic technetium complex as well as its biological evaluation as a 99mTc-based imaging agent selective for CNS receptors were reported.
