Synthesis and biological evaluation of some 2-(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-1-arylethanones: Antibacterial, DNA photocleavage, and anticancer activities

One pot solvent free regioselective synthesis of a series of 2-(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-1-arylethanones 4a-k has been achieved. All compounds were evaluated for their antibacterial, DNA photocleavage and anticancer activities.
