Synthesis and antimicrobial activity of novel 5-(1-adamantyl)-2-aminomethyl-4-substituted-1,2,4-triazoline-3-thiones

New series of N-Mannich bases derived from 5-(1-adamantyl)-4-substituted-1,2,4-triazoline-3-thiones were synthesized as potential antimicrobial agents. The piperazine derivatives 7a-g and 11a-i displayed marked activity against the tested Gram-positive bacteria.
