Synthesis and biological activities of polyquinoline derivatives: New Bcl-2 family protein modulators

► New alkoxyalkylaminoquinoline derivatives were synthesized. ► 5 Out of 28 compounds restored cell death of 3T3 cells overexpressing Bcl-xL. ► We evaluated their ability to inhibit Bcl-xL/pro-apoptotic partners interactions. ► Dimeric are more active than trimeric derivatives.
