Design, synthesis, and evaluation of (E)-N-substituted benzylidene-aniline derivatives as tyrosinase inhibitors

► We synthesized (E)-N-substituted benzylidene-hydroxy or methoxy-aniline derivatives. ► Derivatives effectively inhibited tyrosinase activity and reduced melanin levels. ► Increasing information will contribute to the development of effective drugs.
