Dual anticoagulant/antiplatelet persulfated small molecules

► Seven new persulfated diverse small molecules were synthesized. ► Persulfated trans-resveratrol glucoside (15) was the most potent anticoagulant. ► Compound 15 and polysulfated oligoflavonoids showed antiplatelet activity. ► Novel dual anticoagulant/antiplatelet agents were found.
