Novel isatinyl thiosemicarbazones derivatives as potential molecule to combat HIV-TB co-infection

►This work aim to synthesize a novel compounds with activity against both HIV & TB which are normally exist as co-infection. ►Some of the compounds active against dormant Mycobacterium tuberculosis for that no specific drugs are available. ►Compound B21 displayed promising activity against the replication of HIV-1 cells (EC50 1.69 μM). ►B21 inhibit both HIV and MTB.
