Synthesis of substituted 3-amino-N-phenyl-1H-indazole-1-carboxamides endowed with antiproliferative activity

► A series of N-phenyl-1H-indazole-1-carboxamides was synthesized. ► Synthesized compounds were evaluated by the NCI. ► They caused 50% growth inhibition at micromolar and submicromolar concentrations. ► Compounds induced an increase of cells in G0-G1 peak. ► Compounds increase the hypophosphorylate pRb/total pRb ratio.
