Discussion of ‘On the uniqueness of large deflections of a uniform cantilever beam under a tip-concentrated rotational load’ by M. Mutyalarao, D. Bharathi, B. Nageswara Rao

The paper discusses some flaws in Mutyalarao et al.'s (2010) paper [1] on large deflection of cantilever beams subject to tip-concentrated rotational load. It is shown that the authors fail to correctly determine the domain of the tip angle and consequently they obtain some incorrect solutions.
