On the periodic solutions of a rigid dumbbell satellite placed at L4L4 of the restricted three body problem

In this work we provide sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic solutions of a rigid dumbbell satellite placed in the equilateral equilibrium L4L4 of the Restricted Three Body Problem via Averaging Theory.

► We consider a rigid dumbbell satellite placed at the equilateral point L4L4 of the Restricted Three Body Problem.
► The attitude dynamics perturbed by generalized periodic torques is considered.
► We provide sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic solutions using the Averaging Theory.
