A version of the relations for the damage tensor of an elastoplastic medium

An approach to the description of damage accumulation in the deformation of an elastoplasticmaterial, based on Il’yushin's ideas in the theory of elastoplastic processes, is proposed. A version of the relations for the damage tensor is formulated, from which the well-known Kolmogorov model follows as a special case. As an example, a class of deformation processes is considered for which the trajectories of the deformations are broken lines with extended links.
