The dynamic problem for an elastic half-space with asymmetric normal loading of its boundary

The dynamic problem for an elastic half-space with asymmetric normal loading of its boundary is considered. Simple expressions are obtained for the components of the stress tensor in the form of series, possessing asymptotic properties, which converge for short values of the time. The errors of the approximate solution, determined by partial sums of series, are estimated.
