Hand-drawing patterned ultra-thin integrated electrodes for flexible micro supercapacitors

A low-cost, facile, efficient and versatile approach is developed for fabricating flexible in-plane micro supercapacitors through hand-drawing patterns with an oily mark pen and successively electrodepositing Ni thin film current collectors and MnO2 active material. The as-prepared micro SCs are shape-customizable, need no additional interconnection circuits, and demonstrate good electrochemical performances, excellent flexibility and great compatibility with different substrates.252
