Development and validation of a new multigroup Monte Carlo Criticality Calculations (MC3) code

The present work describes methods embedded in the MC3 code and demonstrates its performance and accuracy in a variety of problems. The effective multiplication factor, keff, and flux of 2D and 3D benchmark of C5G7 and some analytical criticality benchmark test set obtained by MC3 code were found to be in good agreement with references.
