Size-dependent magnetic properties of calcium ferrite nanoparticles

► Calcium ferrite nanoparticles were synthesized by sol-gel method. ► Size dependent structural, morphological and magnetic analysis was done. ► Preferred orientation for growth of nanocapsules is along b-axis. ► Nanoparticles exhibit superparamagnetic behaviour. ► Nanocapsules show mixed characteristics of ferrimagnetic and paramagnetic grains.
