Structural and magnetic changes induced by high energy ball milling of CdFe2O4

► Grain size dependence of the properties of CdFe2O4 has been investigated. ► Reducing lattice constant with milling is associated with structural disorder. ► Milling appears to enhance the magnetic properties of CdFe2O4 oxide.
