Variation of structural, optical and magnetic properties with Co-doping in Sn1−xCoxO2 nanoparticles

► The energy band gap decreases and the PL blue-shifts with increasing Co-doping. ► The low Co-doping develops FM but it is destroyed by the higher Co-doping. ► The observed magnetic behaviors can be well explained by the BMP model.
