Observation of magnetic/electric domains and control of electric polarization by magnetic field in BiFeO3/SrFe12O19 bilayers

► BiFeO3/SrFe12O19 bilayer structure was prepared by the sputtering method. ► Coexistence of magnetic and electric domains was observed in the sample. ► SrFe12O19 was magnetically pinned by BiFeO3. ► Controllability of polarization direction by the magnetic field was implied. ► There must be effective interaction between the magnetization and polarization.
