Periodic J-trajectories on R×S3

In this paper we find the equations of motion for a J-trajectory in the product space R×S3. We study the periodicity of J-trajectories whose projection on the 3-sphere is a Legendre curve and we find a periodicity criterion. We obtain also the contact angle for the projection on S3 of a J-trajectory.
