On higher genus Weierstrass sigma-function

► The Weierstrass sigma-function is generalized to an arbitrary Riemann surface of any genus. ► Each odd spin structure gives rise to an odd sigma-function; each even spin structure gives rise to an even sigma-function. ► Modular properties of the generalized sigma-function are studied.
