Boundary element analysis of stress distribution around a crack in plane micropolar elasticity

In this paper, we use the boundary element method to find a semi-analytical solution to the problem of stress concentration around a crack in plane micropolar elasticity. We provide an example demonstrating the effect of material microstructure.
