Bonded Nd–Fe–B magnets were prepared through the compression molding method. The effects of preparation technology on their magnetic and mechanical properties were studied through the analysis of Br, Hcj, and (BH)max, and through an analysis of their flexural and compressive strengths. The results demonstrated that the mechanical properties increased, while the magnetic properties decreased along with the increase of binder content. In contrast, Hcj decreased while Br and (BH)max increased along with the increase in pressure. The bonded Nd–Fe–B magnets with a pressure level of 620 MPa and thermosetting temperature at 160 °C resulted in the best mechanical properties. Furthermore, SEM analyses of the fracture surfaces indicated that the epoxy-bonded magnets exhibited brittle behavior.
