Oxytocin and object preferences in the male prairie vole

- We tested object preference in male prairie voles in response to oxytocin and L-368,899.
- Oxytocin treatment abated novelty preference.
- L-368,899 also abated novel-object preference, but this effect was restored when voles were tested in pairs.
