Development of cell-based bioassay with Sf9 cells expressing TcSKR1 and TcSKR2 and differential activation by sulfated and non-sulfated SK peptides

- Phenolic compounds did not activate CCK1R when tested with CHO cells expressing rat CCK1R.
- In contrast, there was an anti-CCK1R activity.
- Reported reductions of food intake and weight by phenolic compounds are not due to CCK1R signaling induction.
