► Angiotensin III stimulated high stretch-inducedANP secretion. ► These effects were mediated through AT2 receptor/PI3K/Akt/NO/PKG pathway. ► Intravenous infusion of subpressor dose of angiotensin III increased plasma ANP level whereas angiotensin II decreased it.
