The effects of glucose loading rates on bacterial and fungal growth in soil

Cumulative bacterial and fungal growth and respiration over 6 days at different glucose loading rates (0.5-32 mg C g−1). With increasing glucose loading rates the microbial growth response shifted from one dominated by bacteria to a fungal dominated one.
