On a generalized nonlinear functional equation

The paper deals with the functional equation f(x)=F(f(u(x)),f(v(x)))f(x)=F(f(u(x)),f(v(x))) under some special assumptions concerning the given functions u,vu,v and FF. Our main result extends some results in the literature.
