Existence of distributional solutions of a closed Dirichlet problem for an elliptic–hyperbolic equation

The closed Dirichlet problem for an elliptic–hyperbolic equation arising in linearizing the Monge–Ampère type equation is shown to admit a distributional solution by using an a-b-ca-b-c integral method.
