چکیده انگلیسی
- Quantification of mixed chimerism is increasingly important in HSCT and cellular therapies.
- Current methods lack sensitivity in the microchimerism range (<1%) and have drawbacks such as technical complexity and slow turnaround time.
- We have developed a highly sensitive droplet digital PCR assay for accurate quantification of chimerism throughout the clinical range including microchimerism to a limit of detection of .008% and limit of quantification of .023%.
- We have successfully utilized the assay in clinical samples of patients undergoing HSCT, in microtransplantation and in HSCT patients treated with third-party virus-specific T cells.
