Neoplasms-associated deaths in HIV-1 infected and non-infected patients in Bahia, Brazil

HIV infection is a clear risk fator for development of some malignancies, and is associated with early mortality, compared to general population. The level of CD4+ cells count predicts the type of malignancies causing death in this population.
