Well-posedness for a class of nonlinear parabolic equations with strong degeneracy

In this paper, we establish the well-posedness for a class of nonlinear parabolic equations with strong degeneracy. By introducing a new definition of entropy solutions, we prove the uniqueness of weak solutions and this is the novel feature of the paper.
