An evaluation, using the comet assay and the micronucleus test, of the antigenotoxic effects of chlorophyll b in mice

► We investigates the effects of CLb on cDDP-induced DNA damage and oxidative stress. ► We used micronucleus test and comet assay to asses DNA damage. ► TBARS, CAT and GSH levels were used to assess oxidative stress. ► CLbreduced the cDDP-induced genotoxicity ► Lipid peroxidation induced by cDDP was strongly attenuated by CLb.
