The ontogeny of acoustic individuality in the nasal calls of captive goitred gazelles, Gazella subgutturosa

► The individuality was very high in both juveniles and adolescents. ► Significantly more individualized calls were found in adolescent gazelles. ► Vocal discrimination of sexes was found equally accurate in both ages. ► Different acoustic variables changed uncoordinatedly with age in most gazelles. ► Acoustic individuality was updated based on the newly emerged acoustic variation.
