The results indicate that the perceptions of nursing and paramedical research put forward by directors of nursing refer to two distinct areas: public benefit (added value of the research in the assessment of practices) versus an inaccessible utopia (ideological reading of research bound by financial constraints). The praxeology-oriented analysis can be used for putting forward proposals in terms of areas for action through the creation of a plan of action for the promotion of research. (PAPR). This realistic, inclusive and progressive PAPR constitutes the cornerstone of an operative and strategic managerial strategy for the director of nursing in order to support change.
