Placental baseline conditions modulate the hyperoxic BOLD-MRI response

The high hyperoxic ΔBOLD response demonstrated in pregnancies complicated by placental dysfunction may simply reflect altered baseline conditions, as the absolute increase in placental oxygenation (ΔT2*) does not differ between groups.
