Endodontie vétérinaire

Endodontics is the treatment of the pulp tissue. The essential symptomatology is widely undervalued and is characterised by more or less diffuse pain and infectious conditions. Understanding the histological nature of the dentin-pulp complex appears important to clarify the entire pathogenic differences and help the clinician in decision making. The main three endodontic treatments are root canal therapy, pulp capping and partial pulpectomy. Each of them has specific indications which must be well appreciated because clinical outcomes depend essentially on the compliance with surgical guidelines. Veterinary endodontic is a part of dentistry that needs precision and training. It couldn't be considered a simple therapeutic diagram extrapolated from its human counterpart.
