ABSTRACT
- CULTURAL ASSESSMENTS can be used to make overall generalizations about an organization's culture, identify recommendations for change, create an intervention design to implement change, and develop a communication plan to support implementation.
- THIS ARTICLE DESCRIBES a cultural assessment of an organization. The perioperative manager and staff members used data, theoretical concepts, and relevant research to identify and implement an organizational change for a medical center's perioperative area. AORN J 81 (June 2005) 1290-1302.
