Domain decomposition method for a parabolic variational inequality

In this paper we propose a domain decomposition method for the Euler-Galerkin approximation of a parabolic variational inequality. It is proved that the convergence rate of the algorithm is independent of the space meshsize h and the time stepsize τ.
