The finite element numerical analysis for a class nonlinear evolution equations

A complete stability and convergence analysis is given for two-level scheme for the approximate solution of a class generalized nerve conduction equation. Defining a kind of truncation error and using a kind of technique, optimal order estimates in L2 is constructively obtained.
