Solution of the SN radiative transfer equation in an inhomogeneous plane-parallel atmosphere by the decomposition method

In this work, we report a closed-form solution for the SN radiative transfer equation in an inhomogeneous plane-parallel atmosphere by the decomposition method. We present numerical simulation and comparison with available results in the literature.
