Reactions of some nitrogen heterocycles with chlorodifluoromethane under conditions of phase-transfer catalysis

Nitrogen heterocycles are difluoromethylated with chlorodifluoromethane under PTC conditions. The process takes place by reaction of N-anions from the heterocycles with difluorocarbene than protonation of N-difluoromethyl anions.
