Regioselective ring opening of [(perfluoroalkyl)methyl] oxiranes with N-nucleophiles

[(Perfluoroalkyl)methyl]oxirane reacts with some primary and secondary aliphatic amines affording selective ring opening at Cβ to form the corresponding amino alcohol derivatives.
