Egyptian Research for Agriculture Rural Development Today

Research is a major factor for increasing wealth and human development including the discovery of numerous and new applied agronomic practices. For Egypt, due to the fact that the country has experienced new paths in achieving the human development needs by promoting new agricultural technologies and techniques in field as food producing and processing, diversification of livestock production, agricultural production and plant protection in order both to maximize the revenues and improve the live standard of living for inland population. Taking into account that the livestock and agricultural production represents a proper way of improving the rural community's wealth and cohesion, the evolution of agricultural research for rural development is a greater step in developing the inland economy. The paper main topic is to present the present evolution of the Egyptian research in agriculture and rural development from a complex point of view, taking into account the social, political and economical aspects as population growth, poverty and sustainable human development.
