On the gravitational properties of the spacetime of a chiral dilatonic string

In this Letter we analyze the impact of a scalar-tensor chiral string on some macroscopic gravitational effects. For the purpose of this analysis, we first obtain the gravitational field generated by the chiral string and then we study the motion of test particles in this spacetime.
